Carley G. – Dental Assistant
Carley has been adding positivity and laughter to our team since the summer of 2022. She has taken pre-dental undergraduate classes from Shepherd University and received her sedation certification from the University of Maryland. She has had a love of dentistry since she was a little girl, playing “dentist” with her sisters. She values our practice because of our family-oriented and patient-first philosophy of care, and she loves seeing how happy our patients are once they complete dental treatment. Carley is determined, trustworthy, outgoing, humorous, and a self-starter. When she is not at work, Carley enjoys working out, shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, her boyfriend, Cam, and her dog, Brody.
Natalie K. – Financial Coordinator
Natalie loves working alongside her fellow “rock stars” on our team, but she really enjoys seeing patients leave treatment with a smile they love. Natalie joined us after being a patient here, and she says she always loved the environment and customer service. Her experience made her want to learn more about dentistry and helping others. Natalie says she was also drawn (personally and professionally) to how much our doctors truly care about their patients as people. When you work with Natalie, you’ll find she’s always positive, dedicated, funny, loyal, and fun. When she’s not working, Natalie is usually weight lifting, hiking, and enjoying family time with her children.
Mandi M. – Registered Dental Hygienist
Mandi attended West Virginia University and is currently certified in local anesthesia administration, nitrous oxide monitoring, CPR, and light activated teeth bleaching. Mandi also holds her General Supervision permit, which allows her to work on patients without a doctor present. Mandi loves working one-on-one with patients (especially kids) to help them have a healthy smile. She cleans teeth, takes x-rays, provides patient education, assesses gum health, and places sealants. Mandi loves working with our team because everyone is patient-oriented and genuinely dedicated to putting your well being above everything else. She’s happy, outgoing, friendly, helpful, and energetic. Mandi enjoys being with her husband, her daughter Karson, and dogs (Charlie and Tilly), going camping, cheering on the Mountaineers at football and basketball games, and traveling to new places.
Kelly S. – Dental Assistant
Kelly joined our practice in 2023, but she has over 38 years of experience in the dental field. After getting her wisdom teeth removed at age 18, Kelly decided to join her dentist’s practice, and never looked back! She began her training in dental assisting in Chambersburg, PA, but has kept up to date with lots of continuing education classes over the years, including obtaining her expanded duties training to place dental sealants, apply fluoride products, perform dental cleanings for children, nitrous oxide monitoring, and preparing teeth for crown impressions and fillings. Kelly loves being a member of Tuscarora Dental because the doctors and team care so much about helping patients achieve their best oral and overall health. Kelly is kind, dedicated, hard working, and affectionate. Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys kayaking, sewing, playing board and card games, vacationing at the beach, snuggling her dogs, and spending time with her family and grandkids.
Trina A. – Sterilization Technician
Trina began her sterilization training in 2023, but has been involved in the medical field since 1990. Trina often stays busy behind the scenes at Tuscarora Dental, cleaning the treatment rooms, stocking items, and cleaning, organizing, and sterilizing our instruments. She loves the family atmosphere at the office, and values our commitment to team work and compassionate, high-quality dental care for our patients. Trina is dependable, easy-going, helpful, and friendly. When she is not at work, she enjoys crafting, listening to music, shopping, target practice, swimming, and spending time with her family and her dog, Jackson.
Jody T. – Office Manager
Jody joined the Tuscarora family in 2021, but she is no stranger to dentistry! She has been practicing in the dental field for over 21 years, with lots of experience in management positions and a current member of AADOM. She loves this office because Dr. Browning and the staff give extra special attention to their patients, and also invest a lot in keeping up with the latest technologies and education techniques. Jody especially loves seeing patients who can’t stop smiling after big cosmetic treatments! They can truly be life changing! When Jody isn’t at work, she loves spending time with her husband and family, as well as woodworking, crafting, home improvements, traveling, and wine tasting.
Angela S. – Receptionist
Being a receptionist can be tricky at times, just ask Angela. There are a lot of tasks to juggle including answering the phone, verifying insurance coverage, scheduling future appointments, and helping patients check in and check out. But Angela has nearly a decade of experience working in dentistry, so she knows a thing or two about making things run smoothly at the front desk. She enjoys getting to know patients and seeing their reaction when the complete dental treatment. Angela is kind, passionate about her job, and friendly. She loves meeting and greeting new patients. When she’s not busy at work, Angela spending time with her two adopted children and two stepsons. She loves dogs, gardening, interior design, and being outdoors.
Candi S. – Treatment Concierge
Candi is no stranger to the dental industry with over 15 years of experience. She received her training at Blue Ridge Community College and obtained certifications for expanded duties including application of dental sealants, topical fluoride, children’s cleanings, moderate conscious sedation and nitrous oxide monitoring, and preparing teeth for crown impressions and fillings. Candi has also attended multiple courses with the doctors at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Dr. Felix Liao’s AMD Training. Candi worked closely with the doctors for several years, assisting with a wide range of procedures. She now reserves appointments with our patients to review treatment options in detail and answer any questions that may arise before beginning treatment. She enjoys comforting patients throughout their appointments and helps nervous patients overcome their dental anxieties. Candi also loves helping our patients improve and maintain their beautiful smiles. Having had a career in childcare prior to entering the dental industry, Candi says that she loves the family atmosphere created at Tuscarora Family Dental Care.
Deanna B. – Insurance Coordinator
If you have ever had questions about your insurance benefits, you have probably met Deanna! She has graduate training from Shippensburg University, and has 16 years of experience in the dental field. Deanna helps patients with pre-treatment estimates, informs patients of their insurance benefits, reviews and explains treatment plans with patients, and also helps with financing options for treatment. She absolutely loves helping our patients and enjoys meeting new patients and getting to know them personally. Deanna enjoys being a part of the team at Tuscarora Dental because we truly care about our patients. Outside of work, when Deanna isn’t spending time with her two sons and her boyfriend, she enjoys camping, visiting new areas, cooking and baking, and visiting festivals, wineries and breweries.
Olivia T. – Registered Dental Hygienist
Olivia attended West Virginia University and is currently certified in local anesthesia administration, nitrous oxide monitoring, and CPR, as well as holding her General Supervision permit, which allows her to work on patients without a doctor present. Olivia loves forming relationships with her patients and helping people improve their oral hygiene and total body health. Olivia cleans teeth, takes x-rays, provides patient education, assesses gum health, and places sealants. Olivia loves working with our team because everyone is friendly and knowledgeable on the latest and greatest services. She is friendly, positive, caring, gentle, and puts patients at ease. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, going to state parks, camping, hiking, and cheering on the Mountaineers at WVU football and basketball games.
